Iron Sun – 1 month passed

So, today is 1 month since I started development of Iron Sun – at July, 26, I published a post “And why don’t we make a shooter?

What was done at last month?

  • 90% of visual part of the game – all models, UI elements except menu, and so on. Part of the models, of course, was purchased to speed up the process.
  • Core of the game (the logic of interactions, mechanics of movement, inventory, mechanics of weapons, damage and health, UI, and a lot of little things that are long to list, but without which the game does not exist)/
  • 2 types of available to player weapons from 5
  • The type of AI was selected. I, reluctantly, refused the usage of neural networks and machine learning in AI of monsters. Why – this is a topic for a separate article, I will write later. Made AI for 3 out of 9 opponents.
  • Selected technology to create levels (so as not to do them completely manually).
